FUTURE TENSE

IRREGULAR VERBS

 

Most verbs are regular in the Future tense.  The following verbs are the exceptions and need to be learned.  The stem of the verb changes slightly but the regular future tense endings are then applied.

 

PONER – TO PUT PONDRÉ
SALIR – TO EXIT / LEAVE SALDRÉ
TENER – TO HAVE TENDRÉ
VALER – TO BE WORTH VALDRÉ
VENIR – TO COME VENDRÉ
DECIR – TO SAY / TO TELL DIRÉ
HACER – TO DO / TO MAKE HARÉ
CABER – TO FIT CABRÉ
HABER – TO HAVE DONE HABRÉ
PODER –  TO BE ABLE TO PODRÉ
QUERER – TO WANT QUERRÉ
SABER – TO KNOW SABRÉ
