 INDEFINITE ARTICLES

 

WHAT IS THE INDEFINITE ARTICLE ?

The indefinite article is simply “a”, “an” or “some” in English.  There are four forms of the indefinite article in Spanish. The male and female forms exist in both the singular and plural. Un (ms), una (fs), unos (mp) and unas (fp).  The indefinite article must agree with the noun in both gender and number.

 

Examples

Una casa / unas casas – a house / some houses

Un apartamento / unos apartamentos – an apartment / some apartments.
