In Spanish it is very common to use two or even more negative words in the same sentence e.g. No tengo ni leche ni pan – I don’t have neither milk nor bread.

Also you will see double negatives used in Spanish e.g. No veo nadie – I don’t see no one.  Of course in English this would not make any sense as we would say I see no one or I don’t see anyone.  In English only one negative form is used.
